I cannot partially make a choice as I cannot play H3 anymore, its time has expired for me. I still believe it comes to personal choice. Yet within all this mess there is an order - the balance is better and abuses on many levels are gone(except for some but not as many as in H3 ) Many things have been nerfed so as to be more balanced yet that has made their use less enjoyable. You can see everywhere bits and pieces of sloppyness. Even the whole process is confusing and has turned people away. There are improvements but so many things started as below H3 and H5 feels like the monster of frankenstein, an object with so many stitches that periodically dies until the next patch. There is a sacrifice - some people love complexity, others enjoyable gameplay not hampered by complex skills. I think you miss the most important thing, the feel of it. That's why people still play it :devious:ДЄnyway I don't see your opinion. At least now it's better balanced with less abusive spells.Д®rr.Conflux, castle and necro could be imba in specific maps. The old was not bad either, offered more diversity. Yeah like mighty gorgons and the old death knights.

If you've got anything to add, feel free to do so. Everything looks the same (no TreeA Tree B etc.) AI infests the map with loads of heroes (weak ones too) Boring images (can't blame them, but the technology advancement makes H5 much more fun to watch) Gets boring after a quick while (the early game has no fun to it) Easy to use Map Editor (I don't think anyone bothers to make maps for H5)

Almost perfect balance and still plenty of fun Combination artifacts (though that's coming back soon) Plenty of neutrals that CAN be recruited No point in LV 40, its impossible to reach (could reach high 40s in H3 during campaigns) Dwarven faction has 6 Dwarves with different names (no variety) Animations (creatures are now living, they don't stand still occasionally making a movement) Cooler creatures, better looking map etc.

Below is a list of what I think is better about H5 and whats better about H3. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people mocking H5 in comparison to H3.
